We Use the Tools We Sell!

The FOTS (Friends of the Shop) foundation was set up to supplement the annual budget received from the state. It is a subset of the Red Rocks Communitiy College Foundation, and as such is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organiztion. Over the past 8 years the program has gone from roughly 150 students per year to currently 840 students. We have nearly increased our enrollment by six times*

During the course of this rapid and amazing expansion our annual operating budget has not increased significantly. The only way we have been able to keep up with the demand of students is by utilizing funds and materials donated to the shop through our foundation.

Donations have come from a variety of private individuals and companies. The commonality is that these people value education and the arts. They see what we are doing and want to be part of that contribution.
